About Dr. Morrison
Michelle Morrison ("Dr. MiMi") graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and then ultimately to the University of Tennessee in 1995 where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In her senior year, she received the Keith Sidorsky award for "demonstrating qualities of leadership, caring and compassion for fellow students, and a strong devotion to veterinary medicine."
Upon graduation, she accomplished her dream and completed an internship in Equine Surgery and Medicine at the prestigious, specialty practice named Rochester Equine Clinic in New Hampshire. She spent most of her days working on about 3 surgical colics a day, follow-up care of medical colics and lameness examinations (including numerous radiographs).
She wanted to dedicate her career to the pet population of dogs and cats, so she spent many years learning in different clinics while she became an associate veterinarian or a fill-in vet (relief vet). This gave her the opportunity to see the vast myriad of diseases, treatment plans, prioritizing diagnostic tests and developing her diagnostic skills (and ultimately her intuition).
Her frustration due to the ability to not be able to help her patients more in problem areas, led her to the practice of HOLISTIC medicine where the doors open up to healing in a different way by providing supplemental veterinary care sometimes in cases where treatment was at a dead end.
This brings her to the desire to work with the chronic cases (including cancer) that are difficult to solve. She loves to open up the possibility of improving their lives in anyway, whether it be through reducing pain or simply in giving then a happier life.
Her strongest commitment is to become the best veterinarian she can be by learning from different animal environments.

She wants portions to profits to go toward the preservation of these species.
